I want to thank you & your staff for making our Craftmark buying experience very special.  We had multiple options available at our disposal, but we know that buying our home from Craftmark Homes was the right choice.

It all starts with your frontline, Madeline S.  Madeline is a fantastic and creative individual.   She made our buying experience easy & fun.  She is a great representative for your company; for us she really communicated how great a company Craftmark is.  She offered multiple unique buying options to us that brought to light what Craftmark could really offer; she really educated us in the beginning of the buying process.  In addition, Madeline is professional and honest.  She never overpromised during the contract process and while a “buyer” never gets the price they want we appreciate positive, honest, and professional dialogue.

It was evident that Craftmark was a special company when we were given a settlement date, and due to financing delays (nothing to do with Craftmark), we missed our settlement date.  This was a very stressful time for us, because we technically defaulted on our contract and the penalty we faced was enormous and enforceable by Craftmark.  Throughout this period, we communicated our situation to the Craftmark team and together we worked through our difficult period without any penalty.  The experience was extremely positive and uplifting during our difficult time.

Another member of your team that you can be proud of is Ross S., the project manager.  Ross takes great pride in building a Craftmark home.  We really enjoyed working with Ross; he took all the time we needed to discuss our options and the building process.  He made sure our home was going to be built with outstanding craftsmanship.  We’re really proud of our new home.  In addition to Ross’ expertise, he had a compassionate attribute that is equally central to the man.  When we were going through our settlement delay, we were forced to find temporary housing for a short period of time.  I communicated to Ross that we were going to close at Craftmark early on a Thursday morning and that our movers would be at our new home by 9:30am (which was impossible for us).  I asked Ross if he could take time out of his work day to let our movers being unpacking after our closing so we could avoid having to stay in temporary housing for a longer period of time, he responded in a kind tone of voice “yes.”  He didn’t have to do this, but he wanted to help us when he could and we really appreciated it.

Our overall experience demonstrated the Craftmark Homes genuinely cared about us as people and customers.  Our experience left us feeling like we’re an important part of the Craftmark family.

About a week ago I encountered a problem with my front door. The door would not stay shut without locking the deadbolt. I made a phone call to Dewayne asking for a name of who I could contact to make the repair. Just two days later Dewayne met me at my home and that same day my door was repaired along with other repairs that he happened to notice.

I am writing this note to compliment Craftmark Homes on the quality of your Customer Service Department and in particular Dewayne for his professional attitude and responsiveness addressing the problem immediately. In this time of downsizing and multitasking your Customer Service Department came through with flying colors.
